Views from Highland Land House

Despite the beautiful warm weather Cape Cod has had recently, a hint of fall is creeping in. You can almost hear the leaves turning from supple greens to crisp reds and yellows.

With spectacular views of both land and sea, there is no better place to view nature’s autumnal tints but from high above in a Cape Cod lighthouse. My personal favorites are Nauset Lighthouse in Eastham, Highland Lighthouse in Truro, and Race Point in Provincetown. It’s easy to visit all of them in a day from the Belvedere Inn since they are in a straight line off of the Mid-Cape Highway, US-6.

Start with a warm breakfast at The Belvedere Inn, grab a coffee or tea to go, camera, and your special someone. Within 30 minutes you’ll arrive at Nauset Light to take in the sights from the sand or arrive during a scheduled tour session. Then continue on to Highland Light and Race Point Light for more views of the Atlantic and Cape Cod Bay.

After a half or full day of sightseeing up to Provincetown, take the scenic way back to the Belvedere Inn via Route 6A – Old King’s Highway, the longest historic district in the country.

Soak up the warm weather and beautiful fall views while they are still here by booking today.
